Product Engineer

The product engineer provides a strong technical voice to help shape and build the product.

The product engineers are a creative group that finds ways to develop solutions using modern development technologies. This group involves everything from junior developers, senior developers, DevOps engineers, to operations engineers; but all have the same goals. To build great and stable products for our customers in a conscious and innovative way.

Primary Responsibilities

Researches potential solutions to problems

As the technical expert, solve the problems posed by the users and the product owner. Perform technical research into a problem to identify the best way to solve it. Research can involve the code of an application, consulting with other developers, or searching for online resources.

Writes and tests code

This includes building and maintaining tests, conducting manual and automated testing, and guaranteeing new code functions properly.

Addressing technical debt

You are expected to spend 20% of your time addressing technical debt – areas where a product can be upgraded to improve its performance. Identify areas for working on technical debt and coordinates with the product manager to identify its priority.
